Research in Physical Education, Sport and Health (RPESH)
is an open-access journal.
We are committed to transparency, responsible authorship, and the widest possible dissemination of scientific knowledge.
The following copyright and licensing conditions apply to all published works.


1. Copyright Ownership

  • Authors retain full copyright of their published work.
  • Upon acceptance, authors grant RPESH a non-exclusive right to publish, distribute, and archive the article.
  • Authors may deposit the published version in institutional or subject repositories without embargo.

2. Licensing (Open Access)

All articles in RPESH are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).


3. Author Rights After Publication

Authors are allowed to:

  • Share the published PDF freely on personal websites, institutional repositories, and professional networks
  • Use the article in dissertations, academic teaching, and conference presentations
  • Reuse parts of their work with proper citation
  • Include the published article in future books or collected works (with acknowledgment of original publication)

4. Publisher’s Rights

RPESH retains:

  • The right to maintain and distribute the published version
  • The right to include the article in indexing services, databases, archiving systems (including PKP Preservation Network), and future digital collections
  • The right to correct or retract content in accordance with COPE guidelines if ethical concerns arise

5. Use of Third-Party Material

Authors must obtain written permission to use copyrighted material (figures, tables, photographs, long text excerpts).
Permission documents may be requested by the editorial office.


6. Disclaimer

The views expressed in published articles are solely those of the authors.
The journal and its publisher are not responsible for the accuracy of data or interpretations presented.
