The Research in Physical Education, Sport and Health (RPESH) journal is an international, peer-reviewed scientific publication established in 2012 by the Faculty of Physical Education, Sport and Health at “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje, Republic of N. Macedonia.
RPESH is dedicated to publishing high-quality research in kinesiology, sport, and health, fostering interdisciplinary approaches that connect related scientific fields.

Scope and Purpose

RPESH provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to share:

  • Original studies, comprehensive reviews, and professional insights in general and applied kinesiology.
  • Research from related disciplines, including anthropology, psychology, pedagogy, biology, medicine, public health, law, economics, urban planning, ecology, and management, as they intersect with kinesiology.

This interdisciplinary scope reflects RPESH’s commitment to advancing knowledge and promoting collaboration across diverse academic fields.


Publication Schedule and Language

RPESH publishes two issues annually, in January and June, with flexibility to include supplemental issues when necessary.

  • Articles are published in English.

Editorial Standards and Peer Review

The journal follows a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to uphold objectivity and ensure high scientific standards.

  • Submissions are reviewed by distinguished experts from both domestic and international academic communities.
  • Manuscripts must meet the journal’s submission criteria, as detailed in the Guidelines for Authors, which are available online.

Global Reach and Indexing

RPESH is actively engaged in strategic indexing efforts to enhance its visibility and impact within the international research community. The journal is indexed in EBSCO databases, including SPORTDiscus with Full Text, and is pursuing inclusion in additional leading international indexing platforms.


Submissions

Manuscripts are accepted throughout the year and can be can be submitted via the online submission system.

  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality and ethical compliance of their work.
